Munjal Rajiv Munshi was born in Mumbai, India on December 9. He is the first child of Rajiv and Hema and has a younger brother (Mithil). Munjal lived in India, Singapore, and Bahrain before moving to California where he has lived since age 7.
Munjal went to Cal Poly San Luis Obsipo for his undergraduate studies and majored in business administration. He now works as an engagement manager for license compliance at VMWare in Palo Alto.
Sharanya Naga Kumaravel was born in Chennai, India on October 25. She is the first child of Kumaravel and Manjula and the first grandchild to both sets of her grandparents. She has a one younger brother (Karthik). Sharanya lived in Chennai and Delhi for the first three and a half years before her dad’s job moved the family to California.
Sharanya went to the University of California San Diego for her undergraduate studies and majored in biochemistry and cell biology and minored in religion. She then attended the University of Cincinnati to get her masters in genetic counseling. Sharanya now works as a licensed genetic counselor at Kaiser San Jose.
